Wow, it's been a few days since my last post.
I've been busy cleaning up my place. So far, I have shredded 4 trash bags full ' o stuff and threw away 1 trash bag full 'o well, trash.
Saturday I went to the Fiesta Cantina with Morticia for happy hour. We got some margaritas and some chips and yummy salsa (3 different kinds!)
Our friend Scott (who we met through Walter and a weird coincidence online) was there, so we chatted with him for a bit. But MAN, I was hammered after 2 maragaritas! Morticia even had to drive home! haha. Either they were very strong, or I just can't drink anymore!
Anyways, Walter has been in Sweden for work, he comes back on Thursday. It'll be great to have him back again. Morticia is traveling and me, well I'm home shredding! Cleaning up my place. There is this big change coming soon, I can feel it and I wanna be ready!

What is your most embarrassing moment?
Okay, so I want to hear everyone most ambarrassing moment. You can comment anonomously if you wish.
Priding myself on being an open book, I thought I'd share.
Those who know me know that I am very hard to embarrass. It seems as if it is almost impossible...or so I thought...
This happened last year at the Gay and Lesbo Center. My friend Guy was facilitating a meeting and invited me to attend. I figured it'd be a good way to meet new people so I sat in on his meeting.
Well, just before the meeting was about to start, I figured it'd be a good time to use the restroom to take a pee.
I walked in to find a crowded bathroom. People were at the sinks, urinals etc. So, I stepped up to the urinal and began to pee. I knew the meeting was about to start so I had to hurry. I pushed my pee out as fast as I could and in doing so I unintentionally let out this huge fart.
Have you ever farted really loud in a public bathroom? With all those tile walls and floors it sounds 10 times louder than it should!
I freaked out and in mid-pee there was nothing for me to do! I looked around and felt like Charlotte from Sex and the City. I apologized outloud saying "Oh, oh my god! I'm sorry." Even though it was embarrassing and I must have turned a lovely shade of red #5, I was laughing inside.
But the story doesn't quite end there...
I left the bathroom after quickly washing my hands and went to the meeting room. I was the first one in (minus Guy) and as the members of the group came in to sit down I noticed most of them were the ones in the bathroom that heard my anal explosion!
I turned to Guy and whispered in his ear "I have to go."
He asked what was wrong and I told him. He began to laugh.
I wanted to leave because no longer was I the "New guy let's get to know him." I was now knows as "The guy that farted in the bathroom."
He convinced me to stay and thankfully no one made any comments (not to me anyway).
So there you have it. I know those of you who know me are probably thinking "It wasn't The Pottery Barn Incident" (as it became known as). But no, that was a private event, so THIS fart incident was indeed my most embarrassing.
Okay, so now that I fessed up. What are YOUR most embarrassing moments?

Oh My Stars! I swallowed a cap!
I dunno how it happened but last night while eating my chicken breast, I took a sip of water and it hurt! I said "Hmmm." and then took another sip. Same thing. Same reaction: "Hmmm."
I felt around my mouth with my tongue and there it was! A whole lot of nothing! The cap on my molar was gone! I searched the inside of my mouth and nothing, I had swallowed it! I didn't even realize it!
Well, today I made an appointment with my dentist. I have a temporary one on now which is kind of irritating but in 2 weeks i get the real one. I wasn't expecting to shell out 440 bucks today but what can you do.
I just got back from the gym and I'm gonna make a quick healthy dinner then it's back to cleaning. I have all the shelves in my hallway cleaned off (a whole trashbag of shredded paper!) and now it's time for a cabinet tonight. Then it's time for American Idol! :)

It doesn't take much to make me happy...
I'm really not as complex as people might think. I am a very simple and easy person to please.
I figured this out by just driving to work and found myself in back of a Sparklett's water truck.
It instantly made me happy! All those shiney little blue disks moving from the vibration of the truck on the road..very pretty when the sun hits them!
Anyways, everytime I see one on the road, I weave in and out of traffic to get behind one just to watch it shimmer.
I guess you have to see it to know what I'm talking about. Hopefully, I'll be able to get a picture of one soon.
Hmmm, I see a car crash in my future hehe...

Happiness is a Shredder!
Welp, I got my shredder this weekend! I got it at Staples (I'm a stationary Whore, LOVE it). It's a heavy duty one that can shred 24 pages at a time! Needless to say, I've shredded 2 trashbags full so far of stuff I need to throw away! Oh, Oh, I almost forgot, it's so heavy duty it even shreds CDs AND credit cards (special slot for 'em! haha LOVE it!
My ultimate clean-up has begun!
I took Walter to the airport yesterday. He'll be in Sweden for 2 weeks for work. We will miss him!
Afterwards, I went shopping with Morticia. I bought some shirts, ties and dress shoes and today we continued with our shopping...I bought a cool new spring outfit (wow that's chick talk huh?...) I bought a cool new shirt and a rad pair of pants!
I'm so excited to clean up my place. I estimate when all is said and done, on getting rid of 50% of what I own.
Just a quick entry today...Desperate Housewives is on in 7 minutes!

Tarot is out there! *points*
I did it! I checked off one of last year's goals. Tarot has been officially placed on inktip.com!
The logline and synopsis...everything is done!
Time to jot down angency names etc. and send out query letters too! I'm so excited! It took awhile but I think all of the revisions will be worth it!
Tonight will be a quiet night though. Just got home from the gym. Gonna put on my 8 Minute Abs DVD and then just relax. I'm gonna take a nice hot milk bath with some New Age music on, some incense boinin' and some candles going.
Mmmm.
I'll use that time to think on some more beats for my next script!

Yay! Brokeback and The Golden Globes!
I am so happy it won for best picture, best director, best screenplay and best song! Let's hope it does just as well at the Oscars!
I had to work later yesterday (and today and tomorrow) so I just went to the gym, made some soup did laundry and watched The Golden Globes. Not too eventful but a nice night with the cats. :)

House Hunting...
Saturday night, I caught up with my old friend Cesar. He joined us for a yummy din-din at Mo's. Afterwords, he went home and Morticia and Walter stayed to watch some Sex in the City.
I stayed up late to watch Stardust come back to Earth on the NASA channel, which was exciting!
Sunday, I went out with Morticia and we drove around looking for some apartments for him and then did a little house hunting for myself. Nothing as of yet but the search continues.
Had some thoughts on one of my ex's last night. You know when you think about someone who was so important to you at one time, now they are just gone...I wonder if he ever thinks of me at all...
Anyways, gotta get back to work. I'm feeling a bit blah today, but there is work to be done in the world of Project Management!

Four score and Seven pounds ago...
The holiday poundage is gone! In just 5 days I was able to get rid of 7 pounds.
I forgot what the Weisser metabolism is like when you actually get exercise instead of sitting at a desk all day in work.
I actually like the way I'm feeling now eating better. I'm gonna stick with it as I see so many benefits.
I'll eat what I want on the weekends and eat/drink at bingo but Mon, Tues, Thurs and Fri. I'll just have my chicken, cranwater and hot lemon water.
Anyways, I just got in from running a few errands (Hmm, I hate that phrase "running errands"...it's so Mrs. Brady)...I just got in from doing of stuff and I'm waiting for Morticia to call. I'm going to take him to Whole Foods, we plan on going bowling tonight maybe.
I also got in touch with my old friend Cesar (Hail Cesar!), so we'll call him tonight too.
Gotta go, my strange but lovely sister is IMing me!

Chicken! *bock* *bock*
So, I have been making my chicken breast since Monday night (lost 5 pounds in 2.5 days) with just putting on Cummin seed and Ginger and Garlic Powder when I thought to myself "Garlic Powder"? WHat kind of gay man am I? I'm an excellent cook and I'm using Garlic Powder?? Where's the FRESH garlic? Oh My Stars!
So, needing to stock up on more chicken) I went to Ralph's and got some garlic bulbs. When I got home, I cooked up my chicken (after doing my 8 min. abs for course :) ) and YUM what a difference the fresh garlic makes. MMmmm.
I didn't go to Bingo as I need to stay strict on this the whole week, but I'll be back next week.
I didn't want to drink and if I go and tell Candy I'm just having water she threatens me either I drink or she will. Well, even when I have drinks, she still ends up drunk. hehe
I'm really feelin' the burn from the gym too. Gotta love it!

Toast!
I want TOAST! Yummy crispy toast with butter melted all over it and cinnemon and sugar covering it all so its all dark brown and syrupy.
Or a Thomas's English Muffin with so much butter on it, it drips!
Mmmm!
But alas, I am jump starting my body to get rid of the holiday vanity pounds so sigh. No carbs for me. I have to settle for hot lemon water, unsweetened Cranberry juice and Chicken breast seasoned with only ginger and cummin seed.
The return to the gym is great too! They added a second floor and have twice as much equipment now. I'm so excited about getting back in shape!
Maybe I could have a muffin, if I promptly threw it up....O C'mon! Don't roll your eyes, it's L.A. for Christ's sake!

Time goes by...so slowly...
Okay, so I can't get the new Madonna song out of my head.
Anyways, it was a fun weekend. I took down all of my Christmas decorations and Morticia came over. He helped me take the tree out and then we went down WeHo and met Walter at the Fiesta Cantina.
There, we chatted and laughed over nachos and Margaritas. We ate dinner there too and after about 2 hours and 4 maragritas later, we left a little toasted. :)
We walked around a bit and then David and I went to MJ's in Silverlake. We hung out there and David met someone he has been chatting with. We had a good time and left around 2am when it closed.
Sunday I woke up late and vacuumed my place again and Morticia came over again. We drove back to WeHo and went to the Bodhi Tree. I got my favorite incense there.
We came back and ordered food and watched the premiere of the "L" Word, which I was a little disappointed in.
Today is my first day back to the gym since before the holidays. I am excited to get back into shape.
Back to work... :)

The Holiday's offcial end
Welp, I just got back from taking Terry to the airport. It was a nice visit. Last night Moriticia and I took him to the O-Bar for an excellent farewell dinner. I love that place, not only is it very cool lookin' but the food is truly amazing.
I'm gonna hang for a little bit then work on taking down all of my Christmas decorations. After that, it'll be time to drag the tree out, vacuum and the have dinner with Walter and Morticia (if he is free today, I think he has plans tonight.)
I'm sleepy. Time for a lil nap and then de-decorating!

Bingo makes a sleepy man!
Boy oh boy am I tired!
Bingo was another hoot last night. I went with Terry and Walter and we shared a table with our regular Bingo buds.
The guest ball caller was some lady from "Days of Our Lives" Patrika something. She got drunk and was funny. Our waitress Candy got drunk (of course! :>) and was funny as usual!
None of us won but we had a great time. I didn't eat all day so halfway through my traditional "Girl Scout Thin Mint Martini" I started to feel the buzz.
Lots of false Bingos were called, so there was a lot of paddle spanking by Belle-Aire.
But now, I am sooo tired. I think I'll just take a nap at my desk for lunch.
Sorry there are no Bingo pics this week. Sheldon (my lifetime photographer haha) didn't go and he usually takes the pics. I forgot my camera, so you'll just have to use your imaginations!
Terry is going to visit one of his friends tonight, so I'll take it easy and get caught up on some laundry and just hang out I think. I need to get caught up on some XBOX games anyways. :)

Should friendship circles be treated as stock portfolios?
All throughout ones life, friends come and go. Being 35 and almost always conducting and independent study of some kind, I started to question this. Is it really neccessary for friends to really go? When people drift apart do you really have to drift so much that you forever lose contact?
Recently, I started going over my 401K statements and various stock statements when I found myself asking "Should I diversify my portfolio more?" Then I got to thinking...
Should friendship circles be treated as a stock portfolio? You place your money in all kinds of stocks, some you can rely on heavily, others more risky that may disappoint. People do the same thing with friendships, friends can disappoint even though they were once considered very reliable.
Instead of just throwing our hands in the air and kissing a friend goodbye, should we instead keep them in a diversified friendship portfolio? Ie. "This friend is now known as a hiking friend." "This friend is drinking bud." etc.
I can't help but wonder, if a friend can't be a friend in all areas that count, would be it better to categorize them in your friendship portfolio and keep them around rather than buy, sell or trade them before the closing bell?

Behold a New Year Begins!
Ah, a New Year. I can't help but wonder what it will bring. Time will tell as it unfolds I suppose.
Today I just hung out with Terry and Morticia. We went shopping and then had dinner. I bought a nifty new wallet.
I also cleared off my whiteboard and wrote in new goals for Q1 of 2006.
They are:
Anyways, just a quick update as Terry and Morticia are in the living room. I Guess we'll watch a movie or maybe play some XBOX or something.
Happy New Year Everyone!

They are:
- Be Fabulous
- Achieve my weight of 155 pounds (lose those holiday pounds and from when I was asleep for the month of September from my spider bite drama.)
- Spring clean the apartment. (I am getting rid of *SO* much stuff. Cleaning every closet, shelf etc.)
- Finish outline for my next script (Have to choose between 3 ideas...)
- Figure out where I want to go to school.
Anyways, just a quick update as Terry and Morticia are in the living room. I Guess we'll watch a movie or maybe play some XBOX or something.
Happy New Year Everyone!
