Moving the Blog!

Locations of visitors to this page

A long time ago, I created a MySpace page. I never used it, I just created it so I could read my sister's page. But then more and more friends started to show up there. I have started to see the value of having a page there (being able to do more with photos and videos). So I have decided to shut down this blog and just shift everything over to my space.

I invite current friends to find me there as some have already done so.

The link is:

See ya'll on MySpace!

One of my favorite spots in the world!

Here it is In Hawaii. This was taken from my trip earlier this year. I just love it there! Very good snorkeling! :)

Anyways, just came across it on my PC and it got me day dreaming. I had to upload it. :)

A Fabulous Halloween!

Hi All,

I hope everyone had a fabulous Halloween!

Mine was spent with friends in the usual West Hollywood tradition. We had a blast! We got there around 6pm and slowly but surely made our way to the Abbey for some cocktails. We met up with some people there then hit the boulevard for some costume lookin' and wandering around. The night flew by!

As always, there were some great costumes there. Included in this post are just 2 pics, one of Eric's Fabulous costume "Chandra_Lier" and a pic of my friends Ta'Mar, Kerri, Eric and Matt.

I won't be posting my costume as it is part of the movie we are working on and I don't wanna display it until the time of the movie posting on youtube.

The rest of the weekend was spent relaxing. I needed a break as life has been very hectic. On Saturday, I did by some fabulous candle wall sconces from Illuminations. Steve and I love that store. We hung out afterwards and just chatted and watched some TV.

That's all for now.

Happy Halloween!

Locations of visitors to this page

It's just a jump to the left...

Happy Halloween everyone!!!

Tonight is the magical night! Seems like it came so fast!

Last night my friend Eric had a pretty traumatic night. He was doing a costume trial run, and put on his rings (three tiers) when the metal ring broke. I swear, I could see the life drain out of his eyes. 2 months of hard work and it broke. This was after he tried it on successfully a few times.

Well, me and Ta'Mar were not going to let his Halloween be ruined. We quickly went into problem solving mode.

My friend Sheldon was coming over to take picks and when he showed up we asked him if he had a soldering iron. His father-in-law did so him and Laura went to get it! It was very nice of them.

Well, the iron was kinda old and wasn't getting hot enough to melt the solder.

I called my friend Dan (who always has a wide array of tools) but I was shocked to learn he didn't have a soldering iron. What he did have was a torch though! He said he uses that for soldering copper piping in his house!

I asked to come over and borrow it, but (knowing me so well) he just laughed and said I'd burn my place down :) So he offered to come over.

Thank you Dan! Damn soldered Eric's costume in a few seconds, and Eric put it on successfully! All is well in the land of Halloween!

I would like to thank my friends for helping Eric! It was great how everyone came together. It was a party last night. Afterwards, we had some drinks and took some pictures. What a great night! I love my friends. :)

Anyways, gotta go but Have a great night all!

Happy Halloween!!!!

Busy Weekend!

Whew! I need to take a weekend off next week! Life has been so crazy busy but fun.

Saturday morning I went down the OC again and hung out with Eric and Chad all day. We worked on Eric's costume some more and spent the day laughing and working away. I actually love doing stuff like that! Eric had to go into work at 6 so I left a bit before then.

On the way home, I picked up my friend Steve and we trotted around Hollywood looking for some Metallic Pink underwear to wear outside of my costume. Needless to say, we couldn't find any. Neither at the the Pleasure Chest or Trashy Lingerie. I may not have it for Halloween, but I'll have it for filming for sure.

Steve and I went out for dinner then watched "The Paul Lynde Halloween Special" which was very cheesy and silly but contained quite a few one liners that will be used at a later date. :)

I have been too busy to clean my place or go shopping so I didn't host my pumpkin carvign party, which was just as well, as I got invited to one down in Hollywood. It was a lot of fun! There were about 35 guys there, many cuties and all were really nice. And as luck would have it, Steve and I were quoting Girls will be Girls when we heard someone from behind say "Hey, I was in that movie" and sure enough he was. It was a fun night and I came away with a cool pumpkin (I don't have my camera with me or I'd post a pic).

Anyways, that was my weekend in a nutshell.

Tonight, I am goign to clean my place, do laundry and pick up my cape! Laura is done with it and I'm sure it'll look fabulous!!

Eric comes over tomorrow to stay the night and do a complete trial run of his costume.

2 more days 'til Halloween, Silver Shamrock!

1 More week 'til Halloween! Crunch time!

Locations of visitors to this page

So Halloween is one week away and I just received my unitard in the mail. It's fabulous!! I'm glad I got myself into shape as it is skin tight haha, but thats all part of the fun!

I love my costume for the film but for Halloween, i am used to making more grand costumes, but there is always next year. At least my costume this year won;t be copied. I love doing fun things with creative people that have their own ideas.

Eric's costume is coming along still. I may have to go down and help him again with it.

The plan his that he, Chad, Shaq and John are coming up during the day. We will be met at my place by my friend's Kerri, Liz and Sheldon and taking some cabs down. We'll be meeting more people down there as well.. Ah, all is nice in the world. I'm so in love with this time o' year!

Fun and Productive weekend!

I had a blast this weekend.

Friday night, I went with my friend Steve to see Coco Peru perform her one woman show "Ugly Coco". it was hysterical! I loved it, at the same time it was also touching. I love comedy that also makes you think. We met her afterwards and talked a bit about the show.

At the show, we ran into some of Steve's friends Tony and his partner of 15 years! They were really nice guys and live in North Hollywood. I would like to keep in touch with them. We also saw Dennis again and the day after Steve saw Jack (Evie)! Those guys are turning up everywhere we go! haha

Saturday morning, I woke up bright an early and headed down Orange County to help Eric with his Halloween costume. He has been stressed because assembling it is taking a long time. So, to be decrease his stress level, I went down and helped. Man, this last bit that we worked on is the finishing touch to his costume. It blew me away! We worked all day until about 5:30. He had to go to work so I came back home. During the day however, his friend Chad came over and we hung out. What a cool guy he was. We hit it off and we all spent the day laughing while working. It's cool to make new friends.

Sunday was more of a mellow day. I slept in for a bit but then spent the afternoon over at my friend Sheldon's house. I helped him work on a project he is working on and handed my first attempt at the cape over to his wife Laura who was eager to help. I'm so happy about that! It is very nice of her and very much appreciated! She even offered to make the dog a costume for the film! I was just going to buy her one, but Laura is very good at what she does. When I was done helping Shel, I came home, had dinner and relaxed the rest of the night.

BUT, while I was relaxing, a beat came to my head...the opening theme of our series! I've been waiting for about a month for this song to come to me and last night it started to come. I am going to try to create it in Garageband (Cool music program for the Mac). If not, I'll have to find someone who is good at composing music on the computer.

So things are moving along with our series and Halloween! I love this time of year!

9 more days 'til Halloween, Silver Shamrock!

The Paul Lynde Halloween Special!

My friend Steve just sent me an e-mail on this, so of course I had to order it!

It was only aired once in the 70s!

I can't wait to put it on at my pumpkin carving party :)

Oppsie...

D'oh!

It's actually a good thing though since something came up with one of my friends and I'm going to help him on a project he is workin' on.

So, I'll report back on Saturday how it was! Err Sunday since Saturday I'll be in the OC.

I got my report back from my checkup I had last week, my LDL cholestrol went down over 30 points! Like Martha Stewart says, "That's a good thing."

I sent out an invite to sme friends for Halloween! We'll have to take 2 minivan cabs down (I know...minivans.....) and 2 more groups of people will meet us down there. I can't wait :) It's one of my most favorite holidays :)

I am so proud of my friend Eric. He was worked *SO* hard on his costume (and still is!) It looks amazing. He has GOT to get a bracelet this year to go on stage for the costume contest, it's just that fabulous!

:)

Ugly Coco!

Tonight, some friends and I are going to see "Ugly Coco!" Starring the fabulous Miss Coco Peru !!

I am very excited as I have always loved Coco and meeting her last week at bingo was a real hoot. She (he) is very nice.

Everything else has been pretty quiet the past few days. Although I have started dating, it is something I won't be posting about here. (as I posted before I don;t like to post about other people and dating, well theres always another person involved :))

That has been going okay. Just a matter of getting yourself out there.

Other than that, I've just been watching my tutorial DVD on my editing software, trying to memorize it.

That's all for now!

Costumes and Friends

This weekend was very fun and exciting!

Friday, I went to see a play with my friend Gil. It was interesting. I love small theater! I'm growing more of a passion for it all the time!

I also got my Final Cut Studio Pro 2 on Friday!!!! This is a major milestone in terms of getting ready to film my series of short films!

Saturday I spent trying to get an external hard drive to work on my Airport Express. It wouldn't work, after 3 hours I gave up and took my lil heiney over to the Apple store in Fashion Square mall. I bought an external 320GB hard drive there, took it home hooked it up and poof, it worked instantly :)

I then copied over home movies I took when my Mom was here and moved them to the drive, freeing up TONS of space on my laptop. I was then ready to install my program. It took around 4 hours! (The thing is huge!) and then updated it from the web. It was late Saturday night when I finished, so I popped in the Tutorial DVD and started to learn what it can do. It is truly an amazing product and will take a while and a class or two to master. I am looking forward to it. :)

Sunday, my friend Eric came over. We spent the afternoon shopping for various items for his Halloween costume. What a great costume he has! We then went to Joann's fabrics and bought stuff for my cape.

Afterwards, we went out to dinner then came back to my place and worked on his costume and did our best trying to make the cape. We got a good first draft done, but I need a sewing machine to make it look nice. I don't have one and have no clue how to sew so I asked a friend if she would help. She's very good with home stuff, so she will help us out. That's awesome since not only is this for Halloween but it's also for my series of short films, so it'll be nice to have it look awesome.

Last night, Eric came over with his friend TaMar. She is awesome and we clicked right away. It's always nice to make a new friend. She is writing a script too so we had lots to talk about! :)

On the series front: I already talked about my cape and the editing software...I got a shoe stretcher for my shoes, so they will actually fit when the time comes. :) and Sheldon has been playing with my HD camcorder learning it (as he will be the chief cameraman). His task this week is to film some stuff so I can grab it off the camera and start editing it and playing with Final Cut Pro. Gotta practice!

I am going to try my best to start filming in December. I originally wanted to start in November, but that is approaching very quickly and to do it right, we need a little more time. I actually have a document written up now that (at high level) describes each of the 10 episodes and next year's Holiday special!)

Fabulous!

Morrissey Concert!

Locations of visitors to this page

The old man can still jam!

Last night's Morrissey concert was excellent!

I went with my friend Steve. True to Morrissey form, he ripped his shirt off twice (a little old for it,. but still has a good body) and threw it into the audience. Of course I was overly joyed he played How Soon is now and Last of the Famous International Playboys! My friend Steve wants to get some more of his stuff now. :)

It was a very fun night. :)

On other fronts, my editing software is on the FedEx truck on route to my place from North Hills :) One step closer to filming!! :)

I'm gonna go home at lunch and hopefully, it'll come then.

Tonight I have a play to go see, so maybe in the morning I'll install it and start dickin' around with it.

Coco!

Last night, Coco Peru was the guest ball caller at Bingo!

It was weird seeing her there, since just days before we ran into Jack Plotnick at Disneyland (Both starred in "Girls will be Girls". Coco was very nice and she signed my "Girls will be girls" DVD!

I was a fun night!

Tonight, I am going to see Morrissey! It has been a long time since I had seen him so I am very much looking forward to tonight!

Friday night I am having dinner with my friend Gil and then we are going to see a play. I don't know what it is or what it is about, but I love going out and doing things and love small theater so it'll be fun. :)

I also ordered my Final Cut Studio Pro 2 (Thanks John for letting me use your discount and saving me 600 bucks!) That should come to me on Friday, so I'm excited to play with that all day Saturday and then Sunday and Monday I'll be hanging with my friend Eric to work on costumes. :)

Fun fun!

'Til next time,

The Happiest Place on Earth!

Locations of visitors to this page

This weekend was a blast!

We got a little bit of a late start since I got out of work a bit later than expected on Friday. I picked up Steve at 7:30 and we drove down to Anaheim. There we picked up John and headed to our hotel which was in a prime location for a very short walk across the street to Disneyland! :)

We got in the room Friday night and got it set up just in time to be joined by Eric. By then it was around 10:30 and we were all exhausted. We spent the rest of the night hanging in the room, drinking some and listening to music that Steve and I brought down on our ipods. We chose to stay in because we were getting up at 6am that morning to spend all day walking in the park!

The night was fun, it reminded me of being a kid again with 4 people in the room gabbing until you just fell asleep.

Saturday morning, we woke up bright and early to shower. John got us a reservation at a buffet breakfast at his hotel. The food was AMAZING. Hmm, carmel French toast... mmmmm We had some characters sit with us and say hello (I'll have to get the pics from John).

We then went into the park and spent all day at Disneyland. It was so much fun! Everyone was very nice. We were there from opening until closing! Good thing I bought new sneakers to wear!

Eric had to leave around 3pm to go to work. We were all bummed about it, but glad he had the chance to spend some time there.

We ate at the Blue Bayou restaurant which is located inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. I LOVE that place!

Lots of cute guys to look at, but a lot of them were too young for me to be interested in dating. But it was fun, We had a blast!

Sunday morning we woke up early. John had to work until 4:30 so he got us into California Adventure once Guy got there. We met some nice folks in line for "Soaring over California" That is THE coolest ride I have ever been on! They really trick your senses into thinking you are actually flying, complete with different smells! (I.e. orange for flying over the orange groves etc.) It was my first time in California Adventure and I really liked it. The guys we met hung out with us for the rest of the day and night. They were both really nice (again pics to be posted soon). John met us when he was done working and we continued to have a blast!

One really cool thing happened, we met the Jack Plotnick that plays the character Evie in Girls will be Girls and from the shining star videos on youtube! He was really nice and it was a really odd happening as Steve and I had been quoting Evie all weekend.

Anyways, gotta get back to work. Overall, this weekend was great fun and a good time was had by all! Next holiday...Halloween!

xoxo,
Eric

I met my goal woohoo!

Locations of visitors to this page

This morning I got on my scale and tah-dah! I have reached my goal of 165 pounds! (165.2 to be exact)! This is exactly the weight I wanted to be for Gaydays at Disneyland!

The "Just Do it!" mode of thinking is working. It just takes dedication. If you want something bad enough you can make it happen. I believe that to be true in every aspect in life. It's just a matter of getting off your butt and doing it. My life is exactly the way I want it right now. Writing my lil short film series, better body (although, I wanna set a new goal of losing 5 more pounds by Halloween...but come to think of it, I dunno if I can, since muscle weighs more than fat, I think I should get my body fat measured and think in terms of losing body fat percentages now rather than just weight on a scale. I'll get it measured next week!

Last night a friend came over that I haven't seen in a while. We hung out and gabbed and did some drinking. It was fun. It was nice to see him.

On a serious note, I said long ago I wouldn't post personal things about others in my blog as I dislike Yentas and it's not up to me to tell the world their business. That said, I do have to say that my thoughts are with a dear friend right now as he is in the hospital. I am sending good vibes for his recovery.

Have a great weekend all, I'm off to Disneyland!

Eric

Inching closer...

...to the weekend!

Tonight, I am going to try one more store for a red tee shirt. I have an "official" one for Saturday but I need a shirt for Sunday. I have a red tee shirt, but it's a bit faded and not as fabulous as it should be.

Afterwards, I am going to go to the store for stuff for the weekend. I already have vodka and cups for the hotel room, I just need cranberry juice and Redbull :) and some snacks!

I got my masks in the mail too! I ordered 4 of them so we have a few extra.

It looks like, when I arrive in the OC tomorrow I'll hop to the mall real quick with John and buy my Final Cut Studio Pro 2 for my Project X!

I'm so excited!! :)

A Happy mishap!

Last night, I had a voicemail at home from the company that is making my outfit for my Youtube series (which will double as my Halloween costume).

The said the earliest deliver date would be Oct. 29th. I called them first thing this morning (6am as they are on the east coast) and talked them into delivering it by October 25th as I am hoping to bedazzle it before hand).

The shoes I wanted were out of stock and were not going to be available. I thought "Poop!" but then she suggested another shoe which was available is metallic silver and it's even better than the original one I wanted!!!

Happy happy joy joy!!!

This week I am busy with laundry and shopping and car washing etc. to get ready for my gayday weekend. Time sure is flying!

Slipping into the future,
Eric

You should be dancin'...Yeh!

Locations of visitors to this page

What a fun weekend it was! My friend Eric has been staying with me, he just left today. It was fun having him here.

We did some shopping for costumes. I ordered my costume for the Youtube series I am writing, and I am going to double it as a Halloween costume. Over the weekend, I bought my costume and shoes (They have to be specially made and I will get them in a few weeks) as well as these funny wigs!

Saturday night, I put on my hot pants and we went dancing at Oil Can Harry's

It is usually a Country Western type place but on Saturday nights, it is Retro Disco with a few early 80s thrown in for good measure.

Oh, we had so much fun! It was the first time I've been out dancing in a loooong time. I haven;t really gone since the Senator days. Once he moved away there was really nobody fun to go with. But E and me had a great time! There were some other people from gay.com there and there were 20 firemen promoting their special calendar.

The hot pants worked their magic and I met this cute guy named Robert. I'm tellin' ya, the hot pants never fail! They are magical! haha

We closed the place down and hung out with Robert and his best friend Heather until around 4am or so.

Sunday was a day of recovery haha. I worked on some more ideas for my series then watched some T.V. with Eric before going to bed.

It was a little of everything this weekend.

Just 4 more days until my Disneyland weekend! The weather is supposed to be great too!

That's all for now. Happy October!

30 more days 'til Halloween...Halloween...Halloween, 30 more days 'til Halloween, Silver Shamrock!

Makin' progress!

Locations of visitors to this page

Yesterday, after a lunch meeting with my friend Kayte, I finished the details on the script, got it registered and sent it out to those who want to work on the film. Today more and more people are asking me for a part hehe.

I have 10 episodes planned, as well as a holiday special (either this year or next) and 6 stories in mind so just 4 more stories and they don't seem to be hard to dream up.

Eric and I found the PERFECT costumes for us last night! Oh they are EXACTLY what I was thinking and EXACTLY what Eric was thinking, funny when things just fall into place.

OMG, Eric showed me his Halloween costume (what he as of it so far) , it is FABULOUS! Way cool and I couldn't stop laughing. He truly is one of the funniest and most creative people I have ever known.

We plan to go out tonight to do a lil more shopping for our costumes :)

What's wrong and what's write?

Writing has always been a big part of my life. From journals to short stories to poems, lyrics and scripts. It has always been a fun hobby which I've always enjoyed.

Life is just different when I'm not writing. I am very glad to be back into it now.

With a script out to agents for circulation, another one in process and now making this series for Youtube with a bunch of close friends, life just couldn't be better!

My friend Eric is coming up from the OC to stay with me for about 4 days. It'll be nice to bounce ideas off of each other for costumes for the series (as well as for Halloween!)

Speaking of Halloween, I can't believe it is only a month away! Eric's costume is going to be *SO* amazing, I get a sneak peek this weekend! As far as my costume, well I am thinking on testing out a costume from our series (there are a few reasons for this). It won't be as fabulous as my Pumpkinhead, Katrina or Roy costumes, but it'll be fun and I get to re-use it over and over again for our series.

Hmm, I've been missing my family more and more lately. I've got to find time to break away and go back home. It is real tough right now with some projects ending at work and others just beginning (that's when things are really hectic). Speaking of which, I should end this post, I've finished my hot lemon water so now on to work.

xoxo,
Eric

Heaven is for Brown Nosers

Locations of visitors to this page

Ask any religious person you know. Why do they follow the 10 Commandments, Jesus's teachings or what is written in the Quran? Simple. They follow them to get into Heaven. Or at least the try too...

Out of all the different kinda of people I met met in my life (more often than not, with a few excepts) Atheists have been the most kind and compassionate. They perform good deeds and are good people just for the sake of being good.

Religious people have it all wrong. They perform their good deeds (often times aren't very good at all) so they can get into Heaven, Live forever, get their 40 virgins etc. All they really are doing is kissing up to God, doing what he wants in order to get something out of it for themselves.

If there was a God and I was him, I would smite all of them. Be a good person for the sake of being one and not for the purpose of seeing how many browny points you can score with the old man that sits on a cloud. No one, after all, likes a brown noser.

"My Eric, what prompted this rant?", you may ask.

This just spurred out of a conversation I had with my friend Sheldon at the gym yesterday. We thought it'd be a hoot to create "Heaven is for Brown Nosers" bumper stickers.

Project X update!

The script has gone out for review! I may have a few minor changes to make, but for the most part it is done!

I have been planning costume designs with Eric and we plan to have them completed in a few weeks.

Also, I need to purchase "Final Cut Studio 2" for my Mac. That is a $1,300 purchase but John said I could use his student discount and get it for 700! Whew!

So, I have a few weeks to learn editing and special fx on it.

I also need to create an opening and closing theme song (using garage band on my Mac).

I am going to create a production schedule in MS Project for all of this.

The excitement is in the air and everyone on board with the project is very excited about doing it!

The Mac really is making this all possible! For years I've always dreamed of doing a project like this...and it have it filmed all digitally in 1080 HD with real special effects...it's more than I could ask for! And Youtube offers the perfect place for it to be seen world wide!

Til next time,
xoxo,
Eric

Hot Pants!!!!

When I got back from the gym on Saturday, I tried on my special t-shirt for Disneyland. It fit just the way I wanted so I am very happy. So, out of fun, I pulled out my old Hot Pants (Or "Fuck Me Pants" as I affectionately call them).

Now, I haven't been able to fit in these pants in 6 or so years. They just remained tucked away with special care (Just like Indiana Jones's Lost Ark). But Saturday, I pulled them out and put them on and they fit!!! I could button every button on the button fly without even having to jump up and down or inhale! haha

When I looked in the mirror, there is was, a nice tight bouncy butt. Yay. My Hot Pants are back!

Well, I couldn't very well put them back in the closet after all this time. I had to take them out for a spin! They results were very good :) I am very excited!

I had a haircut early that morning before the gym also, so I was particularly feeling fabulous.

Me and my friend Steve went to the mall and whilst in the mall, we ran into some people I used to know. It was a little odd talking to them after a few years, but I was glad I was in my hot pants haha.

Late Saturday we went to Fuel for a drink. It was fun to go there and laugh.

I can't wait until October when my dating season officially begins!

Anyways, Sunday I decided after 2 weeks of the gym everyday, to take a day off. I just stayed in and did nothing. I watched Raiders of the Lost Ark and treated myself to Indian food.

That's about it for now. Sorry for the vain Hot Pants post, it is just exciting for me to reach this important milestone, as I thought I was still some poundage away from fitting into them.

As for my "Project X" movie project: I got Guy to sign on and Sheldon's daughter and dog!

Umpa Lumpa Baby?!

As you know, I've been getting my 2oz Wheat grass shot followed by a "power size(large)" Carrot/Orange juice.

Well I just got out of the bathroom from dropping one of the kids off at the pool and low and behold, it was bright orange! It was almost as if an Umpa Lumpa had an abortion in the toilet.

I guess it was a particularly randy poop cuz my cell phone went into call speed dial mode and called someone I had no interest in talking to, so when I got back to my desk, I removed all speed dial entries.

My phone seem to frequently dial them on its own, so sorry to all who have gotten one. I think John got one a few days ago from Doodle.

Umpa Lumpa Doobba Dah Dee...

I broke the barrier!!!!

This morning. I broke that hard to breach 170s barrier!

I now weigh in the 160s! I am sure I would have broken it a bit back if I also wasn't putting on a lot of muscle at the same time I am losing fat.

I can now fit into clothes I haven;t been able to fit into in a long time and I can now tight my belt two more notches!

I actually have a V shape now, with my chest and upper back getting more muscular and my love handles shrinking.

Fabulous!

Hard work and dedication is all it takes, just like anything else in life.

Physically, I actually feel much better (with eating better and doing the gym 1.5 hours every day). It's not even considered a shore, I love going to the gym. I have having a lot of fun with it!

Let's see, what else is happening.

Tuesday was the finale of Big Brother. My friend Richard came over and we spent a few hours chatting and then watched it. He was lucky and got to go to the wrap party.

Thursday, I hung out with another friend and helped him with his resume and interview preparation.

I am just a page away from finishing the 1st draft script of the new project I am working on. Yay! Write, write, write as my friend Kayte says!

Tonight, I am going to finish the script and hang out with my friend Eric.

Lots 'o good schtuff! It's a beautiful life!

Time to make a movie!

Lately, I have been addicted to watching various films on "Youtube" and I got to thinking, Hell, I have an HD camcorder. I have a great Mac I can easily edit on, I even write scripts! What am I doing not putting it all together?!

So I have decided to create a series of short films for Youtube. I have already reserved the domain name for them. They will be a comedy series of 10 short films, 5 mins. in length.

I already have a list of people (and a dog!) who are willing to play characters and film etc.

The original plan is to release one short a month starting sometime in November.

I will reveal more details later.

This is going to be a lot of fun and I am SO looking forward to being creative with a film camera. The last time I did any sort of project with a camera was back in the 90s with a series called "Cheap0 VD0z". It'll be great to get back into it.

Will anything become of it? Who knows! Who cares! It's all done just for fun. It is a hobby and it'll be great fun putting it together!

Gotta love candles!

In preparation on getting my new living room tables, I stopped in Urban Home after the gym on Sunday and bought myself something fabulous for my soon-to-be new coffee table!

I wanted a bunch of pillar candles to put on it. But it couldn't just be candles, it needed to be more of a presentation, so I bought a nice wooden snack tray to put them on. It still needed something a lil more to give it that extra lil somethin'. I looked around the store and found a jar of large grain white sand and another jar of some nice looking rock. I exclaimed, "Fabulous!" and scooped everything up!

When I put it together, it was just like I imagined it would be! A nice peaceful lil spot of meditation. It keeps in line with the theme I want for my place. To have nice interesting things to look at everywhere. Simple, clean reminders of nature; love it!

A packed weekend full o' fun!

Locations of visitors to this page

This weekend was very socially busy as I expect them to be in the coming months.

Aside from keeping up my deal of exercising everyday, I hung out with different sets of friends all weekend. It was nice to bounce all around.

I went to a party held in honor of my old boss Mike. It was nice to see some folks I haven't seen in a while as well as those I see quite often. The night was full of laughs.

I hugn out with my friend Guy. It was his Birthday so I promply took him to Burke Williams and got him a massage. :)

I saw a play in Hollywood called "Burn This" with my friend Gil. It was a little long but I enjoyed it. I love going out and seeing live shows.

I also hung out with my friend Steve. We watched the Emmys which were a bit boring but we had fun watching stuff on youtube during them. Gotta love Evie!

I did a bit of fabulous shopping too.

All is going well on the gym front. I'm actually having more people approach and flirt with me. That is a nice change :)

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

From Black to White

In recent years, I have been working to get rid of dark influences and negative energy, it began with getting rid of my black furniture and revamping my place, to cutting myself off from negative people. So I figured, why shouldn't it also apply to my blog? So, I changed the color from black to white.

I believe myself to be more of a white color now than a black color.

Black is the absence of color - A fresh clean slate. The universe waiting to have it's Big Bang.

White is all the colors. And after all, we are products of our experiences and choices. Good and bad. I bath in the white light. I have lived life. I have seen the world, fell in love, fell out of love, made friends, lost friends. I have celebrated by good aspects and made them better. I have confronted my bad aspects and purged them.

Life is a work in progress and the living, the celebrating and confronting will most likely go on until I leave this Earth. But I know this. I love who I am. And as I grow older my celebrations grow more and my confrontations diminish.

Wow, I've been writing too much of my new screenplay *shakes head* although I meant everything I said in this post, I didn't mean to ramble. I just wanted to say I changed the color of my blog. :)

*Raises glass* To the color white! To all the diverse colors that make it. For without them, we'd be lost in the blackness forever.

Back to hardcore...

...after some time of dickin' around. I am back to being focused.

I sent out my query letter for Tarot to an agency, so we'll see what they say. People say to expect 1,000 sorry but no thanks before you get one that says yes, so we'll see how it goes, but I'm hopeful. :)

After taking a week off from the gym (Terry visit don'tcha know), I am back at the gym and loving it! 1.5 hours every day until gayday then I will cut it to 5 days a week until Halloween then stay at 3-4 to maintain.

My daily menu until October 6th consists of:

1 glass of hot lemon water sweetened with Steveia Plus
10 almonds

2oz shot of wheatgrass
Large glass of carrot/orange juice

3/4 pound of chicken breast seasoned only with cummin seed, garlic and ginger

I am also taking a multi vitamin and calcium/magnesium pills

Fabulous!

This is to jumpstart my body even further than before so I can "officially" start my new dating season in October.

The man with a plan,

Boopie visit!

Welp,

Last Wednesday Boopie came into town! I picked him up at the airport and, per his request, went straight to Bingo!

We joined a few of my other friends there and stayed for the first round of games. He came close to winning several times!

We had a great visit as always! Although, I ate pretty badly when he was here (but it was so much fun!!)

We saw a great Israeli movie called "The Bubble". It was a great movie but I didn't liek the ending....

Anyways, it was a short visit, just Wednesday to this morning. Always sad when he leaves, but he'll be back soon!

I booked my hotel for Gaydays at Disneyland tonight too! I booked 2 nights at the Howard Johnson's which is literally right across the street from the entrance! Now we can do the clubs afterwards and just walk back to the room :)

It'll be so much fun, I am SO looking forward to it. My friend Guy is going to come now too!

'Til next time

Hot! Hot! Hot!!!

Boy, Howdy! It's been way too hot here!

The heat really makes me slow down...

I did still manage to hang out with friends. I love it when Steve and I hang out, it's like hanging out with a friend when you are younger. Listening to music and copying songs :) I also scanned in some more cover art.

I spent a lot of time in the pool this weekend. I am so glad to have one that is just a few feet away from my door. My neighbors make it fun too. It's great to live in a place where most of the people are very friendly. I was even really careful not to get a sunburn this time!

I did some research on Sunday for agents, that went pretty well but time consuming. I was thinking about having a cookout (or BBQ as they call it here in Cali) but it was just too hot and I really had to get some other things done. I am planning on having a big game night soon. That should be fun. :)

I had breakfast with Guy too. It was nice to catch up with him, it had been a bit since we hung out some. We always have a good time hanging out together. We went to this organic Belgium place. Maaaaan, I had the best waffle I ever had in my whole life! Mmmm!!!

Things are great on other fronts too. I am really working hard on the whole writing thing and health (the gym and eating better). I am excited for the Fall though. The heat will be gone and I will be out and about more (hoping that all this research I'm doing will be over soon).

Welp, just a brief update as I have to get to work.

Til next time,
Lots of Love,

Halloween

So I saw Halloween at Grauman's Chinese Theatre last night. It was a sneak preview and my friend and his roommate invited me. It was a blast!

The guy that plays Michael Myers was there with his friends and before the movie, he was signing autographs and taking questions.

Knowing that my darling sister is a big Halloween fan, I got his autograph on a really cool poster that is personalized to her. :)

I won't say much about the movie other than I did like it overall. They went into Michael's back story which I thought was interesting and it wasn't a straight copy. Rob Zombie definitely took it in another direction.

If you like to be scared, go see it!

On and on the beat goes...

So one of my friend's gave me Madonna's new single that leaked from her studio and isn't released yet. It is called "The Beat Goes On". It is really good and I can imagine, it'll be great to dance to once it gets remixed (which it already has and I'll get those versions on the weekend hopefully. Hmm maybe tonight).

I finished my final versions of my Query letters! This week;s assignment is to research various agents and find 5 suitable candidates for each Tarot and Pooka. Then, next week, the plan is to send them out! Yay!

Thanks God for K.D.! I have a much better chance of success in this field because of her advice. She's great!

Tonight I am seeing a sneak preview of Halloween at the Mann's Chinese Theatre, for free!

Bingo was fun as usual last night! I sat with my friend's Gil and Richard and my friend John came up from Orange County! We hung out a bit before and after. It was good to see him again.

Eric

Movin' along...

This weekend was nice. I hung out with Steve and we had a very fun time shopping. I think we laughed the whole day away haha. Anyways, I bought some cool shorts to wear for GayDay at Disneyland and I used a giftcard my brother and his girlfriend got me for my birthday to buy some Clinique skincare products.

I also spent some time working on my query letters and I had the first draft of those done for my meeting with K.D. this week. It feels good to keep on track of goals that I am making for myself. K.D. has been such a huge help, I really *really* appreciate it.

The next step is go over the letters and then write the final draft, then send them out!

I have a new lunch routine. (Thanks Steve for suggesting it!)I go to Jamba Juice and have a 2oz shot of wheatgrass followed by a large carrot/orange juice!

What does Wheatgrass do for you? Go here to find out!:

Health health health!!! It's yummy too!

Query Letters!

Yesterday, I had lunch with my friend K.D.. We've decided to get together every weeks to each other status updates on our writing endeavors.

Now that Tarot is all finalized and Pooka has been updated and finalized, I am ready to send them out. The trouble was, I didn't know where to go from there.

K.D. was great to point out that the next step was writing "Query letters". That's the letter you send to agents enticing them to want to read your script. K.D. gave me some great pointers and after work, I went home and looked up some samples and completed a first rough drafted of a query letter for Pooka. I have a few edits to do on it, then I'll do one for Tarot. For next weeks meeting, K.D. will tell me whats good and whats bad about it. When the letters are as perfect as they're gonna get, I'll send them out.

I am so excited to finally be doing something with my writing!

My friend John is working on publishing some stuff online and is about to start writing something new.

Getting back into my writing and talking shop with friends really made me realize I really did miss being creative and having that element around me.

The Simpsons and Water workouts!

This past Saturday, I hung out with my friend Steve. We saw The Simpson Movie at the Arclight. It was very funny! I am glad I went to go see it!

Afterwards, we copied some music and scanned in some cover art. It was a fun day/night.

Sunday I spent 3 hours in the pool with my new water arobic weights! Boy Howdy, what a workout! I actually got a good sunburn too hehe

I've worked in my water workout now into my gym, abs dvd routine.

I have a lunch meeting tomorrow on how to jump start my writing career. I am so glad I'm getting into high gear on it.

Opps, gotta go.

An awesome birthday!

Yesterday was my birthday "I-29, yes I am and holding!" and Wednesday night my friends set up a Birthday Party for me at Hamburger Marys!

It was fabulous! It was very sweet and touching to look around and see a bunch of friends there wishing me well for a new year! They even bought me a SpongeBob cake which was very yummy! :)

I even won a game of Bingo and so did my friend Richard!

It was quite a party and I've gotta tell ya, Bridgette really its hard with her Bingo Paddle! Ow! haha

Yesterday was a nice relaxing day. Although I spent literally almost the whole day and night on the phone with friends and family calling to wish me Happy Birthday! My lovely sister even lived up to her yearly singing phone call! haha

Some calls I missed because my cell phone went wacky and none of the buttons would work, so I couldn't check e-mail on it or answer the phone. So, I couldn't respond to some of those until it magically started working later on at night.

My friend Douglas couldn't make Bingo so he is going to take me out today. What a great guy!

So today is my first full day of being 37! I plan on making it a great year! It will be Fabulous! It will be Beautiful! And it will be Amazing!

Thank you all for your wishes, cards and calls :)

Love,
Eric

Spa Night!

Last night saw the return of Spa Night (which I typically hold on Sunday nights).

After the gym, I came home and did my 8 Min Abs DVD. Then I took a shower and walked across the street for a much needed manicure. (My cuticles were gross).

When I came home, I soaked my feet in my hot water massager bath thing for about a half hour and then used the pumas stone on my feet to remove the dead, rough skin. I threw in a hand, feet paraffin wax too! After that, I did a bit of manscaping, followed by a facial exfoliant, cleansing and clay mask. Finally, a cold eye treatment. I got another shower and then used my Clinique body moisture on my hands, feet and elbows.

Fabulous! Overall it took me from about 5:30 (When I started my Abs DVD) until about 10pm!

Murder on the Mystery Train!

Just a quick weekend wrap-up...

Saturday, I got a spiffy new haircut and did a "Murder Mystery Train" with some friends. It was a lot of fun!
\
It was a circus theme, so before I even got there, I knew the clown was the murderer.

When I saw the clown, I was giving her a lot of crap about being the killer because all clowns are evil. She made me a balloon animal, smiled and went on her way, denying everything. When she got to the table next to ours on the train, she began to make another animal but she couldn't get it right. She picked up a passengers pencil and began to stab the balloon repeatedly.

When I stood up and pointed dramatically at her yelling "Ah-HA!", she threw the pencil down and starting repeating "Happy, happy!" and then she broke out in a little dance "I'm a happy clown.".

Well, when all was said and done...she did indeed confess to the murder earlier.

Never trust a clown!

Sunday, I woke up too late and missed brunch, so I spent most of the day trying to file out a way to recover some lost files. Still haven't figured it out...

iLife '08

The new iLife just came out for the Mac! Yay!

It supports the new file extension that my new digital HD camcorder uses!

I spent all last night importing the footage over to my Mac from when my family came out to visit! There was a lot of footage so it took some time. After that I started going through it. I'll begin the editing process tonight, once I'm done listing out what I want to appear in the final cut. Then burn a DVD complete with fancy menus and ta-dah! All done.

What a great program and very very simple to use. Macs just rule. Fabulous!

Also part of the suite is iweb (make webpages VERY easily), iphoto, garageband. All for just 80 bucks!

I can't wait until the DVD is done so I can ship a few copies back home to my Mom, Sister and niece!

I haven't been getting mail from my Website!!!!

Hi All,

This message goes out to anyone that may have sent me e-mail through my website.

It's no secret that I'm just a tad bit senile. When My website was set-up, I created a seperate email account for my website only to seperate personal from the site.

The only thing is, wel I forgot to set-up the seperate account. This was back in 2005 so any mail that was sent though my website, I never got and the email server only keeps them a month apparently. Sigh. This sucks.

The only reason why I found it was because Paul had been sending me mails from it and finally he was able to find me through other means. So, thank you very much Paul for bringing this to my attention and I am sorry for anyone that may have sent me an e-mail and did not receive a response. :(

It is fixed now though.

Sigh. I know. I'm a retard.

Now where is that 'lil yellow bus...

Nice weekend

This weekend was a nice mix of everything.

Friday night after the gym, I came home, watched my Dr. Who and then did some reading. Nothing major but it was nice to relax.

Saturday, I hung out with my friend Steve. We had a fun time. I installed Office on his computer and was teachign him how to use it. We hung out at Starbucks for some time, watched a bunch of stuff on Youtube, then we got a pizza and watched a movie. He was also kind enough to give me a few cool cds (imported to itunes for my ipod).

Sunday, I had to catch up on some cleaning and then hung out with some neighbors in the pool. That is always fun! Seems like I started a trend because now, everyone has a floaty chair :)

It was one of those weekends that make you say "Man, I wish everyday was like this". hehe

Imagination overflow!

To bring ya'll up-to-date, I'm still at the gym for 1.5 hours 4 nights a week. I hung out with my friend John on both Tuesday and Wednesday nights. It was good to hang out with him, we had a good time.

I have been writing my book at home (going to try to crank out a chapter a week) I am going on 369 pages now! And during my lunches, I have been working on the pilot script for my comedy TV series.

Needless to say, I have had no time to play World of Warcraft. I actually haven't played it much in a long time. I miss my online friends and stop in once in a while to say hi and catch up but that's about it.

Busy busy busy :)

A Nightmare returns!

And it's a good thing!

My old friend (from about 16 years ago tracked me down on the net. I'm glad he did, we had some fun times back in the old days. Ah the old crowd. I'm glad he is doing well now. I look forward to hanging out when I visit back home again.

Why nightmare? Oh, well, that was his old handle on Ddial haha.

Thanks for getting back in touch Paul. You were missed!

Reading and Writing and fixing PCs!

Just a quick update!

Friday night I finished "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows"! What a great book. It was sad to see the series come to an end. I won't say what happens, but read it, it's worth it!

Saturday, I hung out with my friend Steve. I went over his place and we hung out all afternoon and evening. We watched some funny videos on Youtube and I gave his computer a tune-up, fixing things here and there and he says it's running better so Yay! No more error messages popping up for him! We also went out for dinner and watched a movie afterwards.

Sunday I had to desperately get caught up with some chores. I did laundry and cleaned. I also spent some time writing. Whew, everything is coming at once! My book and my script for my comedy series...much fun!

The Relationship Equation

I've found that there are 2 types of equations when it comes to the relationship department (no surprise there) The Single equation and the "taken" equation:

The Single Equation - There are 2 types in which people fall into: 1+0=1 and 1*0=0.

1*0=0 - Back in the day, I fell under this category as do many people. This category refers to people that NEED a relationship. These people simply can't or don't function well at all being single. This is obvious by those who constantly are in a relationship and don't stay single for any loner that a week. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately) I paid my dues to this equation in a different way. It only took one relationship for me to realize, I definitely don't NEED a relationship. When you NEED one, you (more often than not...hence the new partner every other week) end up with the wrong person. As I said, I was definitely with the wrong person for 14 months before I finally woke up and said "I'm so better off alone."

1+0=1 - The healthy way of being single. You are single and not ashamed of it. You know how when you see commercials on TV or hear married people talk, the word single is a synonym for "poor guy/girl. They aren't complete yet or happy." This is where I am now and have been for quite some time. I was happy for a while being single, although it's been almost 3 years since my last relationship, I feel like I am ready to date again. The different between this equation and 1*0=0 is that I want one and not need one. I am waiting to find the right guy, not just grabbing one just to say "I've got a boyfriend." That can only get you through his rehab treatments so long.... :)

1+1=2 - The "I'm taken" relationship. Of course this could be sub-divided so many different ways. This is where I would like to end up and hopefully the right guy is out there. We'll see, but I do feel that me personally, I am ready inside and out to pursue a nice, long, healthy relationship. But until the right prospects come along, I am enjoying being a member of the 1+0=1 family.

Summer cold! Icky-Poo Go Away!

And so it is! *bing*

I had a nasty cold come on me suddenly, and like always leave suddenly. I am back at work today and feeling tons better.

I wonder if it's all the gym and the change of eating habits that helped bring it on...germs at the gym etc.

Small price to pay since I'm down 6 pounds since my family left and other people are noticing a difference. I expect the poundage to level off as more muscle is put on, but its the clothes that matter!

I'm right on track for my Gay Day deadline. Me and my friend Eric have created a program we are sticking too.

Being sick let me do some more reading on the New Harry Potter book. I'm at page 502 now. I expect to finish it Friday night so I can get back into my own writing!!

I'm so excited about writing again! Just sitting out on the Terrace with my Mac and a cup of coffee...Fabulous!

Being Gay is NOT a choice, god damn it.

This morning I had a chance to watch a video clip that was sent to me by a friend of mine about San Diego's baseball gay night. That night they happened to be given away hats to kids. This caused a great uproar to guess who? christian idiots. Saying that homosexuals shouldn't be promoting that radical agendas. Since when is wanting the same rights that everyone else has (I.e. marriage considered radical?) They had this one ridiculously bigoted christian woman on bitching and moaning about how more teens are coming out and coming out younger. "Do we really want that?" Well, yes you stupid cunt we do. Why? Because the *Number 1* cause of teen suicide is being ashamed because they are gay.

Teens coming out more and more and younger, is a healthy sign that they are okay with who they are, and why shouldn't they be? There is nothing wrong with it.

I find it so odd that the foundation of christianity is supposed to be love. Why then are most christians so bigoted toward gays. Some go so far as to carry signs saying "God hates fags." I thought God was supposed to love everyone?

These are the same idiots that listen to jerry falwell (or listened to before the fucker kick the bucket) about the moral majority. Moral majority?! He was caught with a HOOKER in the 90s. Jesus Tap Dancing Christ.

Anyways, that's enough of the rant about that. I just had to get it off my chest.

Oh, im regards to the title of this posting: Being Gay isn't a choice, you are just simply born that way. Coming out, being proud and loving yourself is a choice. Hiding and pretending you are straight and living a lie is a choice. Basic sexuality is not.

To all straight people reading this with disbelief, chew on this: If you believe sexuality is a choice that what you are telling me is that you are attracted to both men and women and are CHOOSING to sleep with girls (or guys if you are a girl reading this). Somehow I think you'd argue that statement...

So if you are going to lift your holy spears and hurl them at groups of people, get educated first. You wacky people have done enough harm throughout history.

Elmer Fudd Chronic Farter?!

It's no secret that my anus used to be very talkative. (Not so much now that I eat better)and I always laughed at the expression for farting "Shot a bunny." We used it when we were little and to this day it still has a funny ring to it.

Since I shot several bunnies in my day, I couldn't help but wonder all those times Elmer Fudd would look at the camera with that coy smile and say "I'm huntin' wabbits huhuhuhuhuh"

Could this mean he was always shooting bunnies? Was there a double meaning in the expression? Was Elmer Fudd a chronic farter? Considering the wacky writing of those beloved Looney Tunes cartoons, I wouldn't doubt it in the least.

More and More Harry Potter

Thursday night while sleping, I was suddenly hit by a huge head cold! I could barely swallow my throat hurt so bad.

Since I was awake at 3am, I called into work and left a message with our department Admin that I wouldn't be coming in. By the time Friday afternoon came around I was feeling much beter and today even a more marked improvement was seen. I was supposed to hang out with my friend Steve today/tonight but since he has an interview Monday, I didn't want to take a chance on getting him sick.

So, my week and most of my weekend was spent on the 6th Harry Potter book "Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince", which I finished, it was Fabulous!

I went right out and bought the brand new book (which came out today) "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows". It is very good so far and I hope to go through it quickly, although part of me wants to do it nice and slow since it is the last one...

Welp, back to the book :)

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

This weekend was okay. I woke up early on Saturday morning to to to Universal Citywalk to meet some friend for the 11am 3D IMAX showing of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It was sold out so I bought tickets for the Sunday show at 11.

Saturday night I spent at home working on script ideas, which I am behind on, but I have some funny ideas and I will have some basic story beats down by my meeting with K.D. on Friday.

Dizzy and Doodle had a massive fight Saturday night. Doodle charged me too, so I hid in the back room until she had a time out, then she was fine again. :)

Sunday morning, I met some friends at Citywalk. We had a nice breakfast at Wolfgang Puck's and then saw the movie. It was AWESOME! The best one of the series so far!

Although the 3D was only in the last 20 minutes, it was well worth it, and the huge IMAX screen looked wonderful.

We had a great time, everyone loved it!

Later that day, I took a lil trip to the Apple store and traded in my Macbook Pro power supply. It had stopped working. (I suspect the cat's teeth marks in the cable had something to do with it...) They guy in the store was great and I was in and out very quickly. Even Mac's service is superior! :)

Terry got me addicted to Big Brother 8. I'm even addicted to the Live Feed on Showtime. I keep it on in the background while I'm writing or chatting or playing my game.

That's all for now, time for a nice chicken wrap for lunch with Douglas and Liz :)

xoxo,
Eric

Cravings, Birthdays and Holidays, Oh My (Stars)!

I am having SUCH a craving now for chocolate but none around to be found! That's probably a good thing though as I eat quite healthy these days.

My friend Maria called me today and told me not to make any plans for my birthday that she is organizing a party for me at Bingo. :) That's very sweet of her. I've known her for 10 years now and love her to death! I'm excited for it as I know it'll be a great time!

My oldest Brother, his wife and my goddaughter are talking about coming out for Thanksgiving and bringing Mom back. Apparently Mom has been telling everyone about the good time she had now they all wanna come haha. I hope all their vacation schedules and stuff works out so it'll happen. It will be so cool to cook Thanksgiving dinner for my family. Oh man, mashed potatoes, gravy and Yorkshire Puddings! :)

I'm hungry. :)

Re-visits

Yesterday was my oldest Brother's birthday. I called to wish him Happy Birthday and we went a good time on the phone laughing sharing wacky stories about Mom. He is going to try to plan on coming out around Thanksgiving with her. That'd would be so cool!

The other re-visit that has recently happened was a character from a script I wrote with Senator when we would spend stomach hurting laugh-a-thons at Rage years ago.

This time she is back with some additional friends! It's a good time getting the beats down for the story. It's odd even though he lives around the other side of the world, it's like he is here when "Anita" comes around. She's like this alcoholic child we created with our imaginations. I'm hoping to finish all the beats by the weekend, so I can start the actual script next week.

"I shaved my balls for THIS?!"

Peace,
Eric

Cute pic!

I was just e-mailed this picture. It is of me and my friends at a tent BBQ. It's a super cute and really captures everyones mood. Good times! As always, click to enlarge!

From left to right: Linet, Me, Liz, Douglas.

Workin' on my fitness!

Day 2 at the Gym was much better! I went faster on the elliptical and threw in some more weight machines. Soon I'll be back up to where I used to be. Abs followed of course, followed by a nice comfy swim in the pool.

I am going to skip Bingo tonight, I think. No really feeling it today. I think I'll work on my script tonight instead.

I am also trying to plan out the rest of my trips for the year. I have three more vouchers left over from when I came back from Hawaii (Thanks to Boopie!)

So far this year, I have traveled to Hawaii and back to Philly 2 times. I have 3 more trips to take. I would like to go back to Hawaii again and I have to go home 2 more times. Mom wants me to come home for one of the holidays so I have to decide if it is going to be Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Claudia, my fabulous hairstylist, is moving to New York so maybe I'll drive up there haven I'm home to visit her and get my haircut :)

Back on track!

Last night was my first night back at the gym! It felt great to be back, although a bit tiring :)

I also did my Ab routine when I got home.

Also, I stopped at the market and bought only healthy stuff. Since it has almost been a month since I have stopped eating any meat from Cow and Pig, I picked up chicken (which is what I would have gotten anyway), some apples, grapes and almonds.

My breakfast this morning consists of almonds and hot lemon water sweetened with Stevia Plus. I just feel much better and have more energy when I'm eating more healthy. Not to mention looking better!

I spent all of last night copying music files from my old computer to my new one. 15gbs worth! That took a while, I just left my computer alone while that was going on, didn't want to mess it up and have to start all over again!

While that was going on, I watch Big Brother after dark on Showtime Too. Stupid tv but great to leave on in the background hehe. It's the live feed from the house so it's all uncensored.

Relaxin'!

After a very busy family visit, a fun filled packed 4th of July, I took this past weekend to do absolutely nothing...and I LOVED it. :)

Saturday I caught up on much needed sleep and watched Live Earth all day. I think the only person I talked to all day was Mike.

Sunday, I Cleaned the Terrace and trimmed the flowers out there and did a brief cleaning on the inside of my place too. I spent the afternoon in the pool with one of my fabulous neighbors Lisa. I love hanging out in the pool. Good times...

I also worked a bit on ideas for my next writing adventure. I love writing; like rea like embarking on a new journey is a bit scary but well worth it! I have a few different stories in mind. Some are new, some are old characters wanting a new adventure...

Fourth of July Recap!

Tuesday night I saw Transformers with my friend Douglas. We caught a late show that start at like 10:20 or so pm.

It was a great movie for people who watched the original cartoon. If you don't know anything about it, I think you'd still like it although they didn't do anough character development with the robots so you didn't really care when some of them died etc.

On the morning of the Fourth I drove south and picked up my friend Eric in Irvine. He has one bad ass condo! Very very nice! We then drove to my friend John's place and picked him up. We all went to Disneyland (even though I was there a week earlier, I have always been curious to see what their fireworks were like on the 4th).

We met John's friend Gil in Disneyland and we had a fun filled day packed with laughs. I love hanging out with people that love to do different types of things. I've had all of these friends all these years that I only hung out with once in a while because i felt shackled to someone who was just, well, boring. It's great to get out and have fun!

The fireworks did NOT disappoint! Man, aside from their normal fireworks show, the special 4th fireworks were awesome! I will go back next year for sure!

There are 4 or 5 of us that are going to get a room/rooms at the Disney Hotel for the weekend of Gaydays. That is always a fun weekend!

During the day, I even got a chance to talk to Mike a few times. Wished him a Happy 4th. Would have been cool if he were there with us.

When I got home from Disneyland wasn't so much fun though haha I must have had some 24 hour virus or something, I was in the bathroom every 20 mins til like 6am. (But I won't go into the troubles of my anus...) :)

I am looking forward to the weekend. What am I going to do? Nothing. Well, laundry and work on a script but nothing major. After the family visit, and the 4th and my lil stomach virus, I am just looking forward to kicking back and relaxing!

Peace,
-E

End of the Family Visit!

Saturday, after my Morning coffee with Mumsie, we went to Venice beach. We milled around there for around 4 ghours and I could see Mom was getting tired and needed a break from all the runnign aroudn we were doing.

We came home, and ordered in Chin-Chin (Which everyone LOVED) and we watched Finding Nemo. It was a relaxing night and everyone had a nice recharge. Me and my neice Sara went swimming as well. She went in with all her clothes on haha.

Sunday, we went to Universal City walk and then I took them to Lake Hollywood (The closet you can get to the Hollywood sign!). Then it was on to Geoffrey's for dinner. YUM!

They all left yesterday morning. :(

It was sad to see them go, but they all had a great t ime and my Mom was even talking about coming back. :)

After the left, I came home and crashed hardcore. I fell asleep and woke up very late, just in time for bed.

Sorry to my friend Mike, I promised to talk to him last night, but sleep got the best of me.

All is well and I am looking forward to hanging out in Disneyland tomorrow with a group of friends for the 4th of July fireworks!

Truth be told, I've always been a Fireworks whore. :)

Family Visit!

Just a quick update on the family visit...

They came in earlier in the week and the first thing my Mom wanted to do is eat at "Pink's" hotdogs! She loved it but was feeling so tired and a lil sick from the plane. So I tok everyone to my place and as soon as my Mom saw her bed, she crashed hehe

Thursday, we started the day off by going to the house they used in "The Brady Bunch". My sister is a Brady Bunch freak so she was excited to see it.

We then went down to Hollywod, where they saw the Mann's Chinese Theatre and the stars and handprints in the sidewalk. We also did a tour of the Kodak Theatre. Everyone loved it!!! After that, I took them all to Rodeo Drive and we had a light lunch there. :)

For dinner, we all went to the "Inn of the Seventh Ray". I is my favorite restaurant and I wanted to share it with them. They loved that as well. Mom didn;t want to leave! She kept commenting on how pretty it was.

It was a fun filled day!

Yesterday, we went to Disneyland! We met my friend John there and he was kind enough to get my family in for free! What a great guy! Thanks John!

We went on all kinds of rides and I had dinner reservations made at the restaurant inside the Pirates of the Carribean" ride. It was Fabulous! John left for a few hours to go get his new iPhone (that thing is truly amazing!!!)

Mom did really god. We got there around 10am or so and left at 11:45. She took a lot of breaks but she lasted the whole day and had a lot of fun!

Today is an easier day. I just have Santa Monica Pier, Venice Beach and perhaps third street planned for the day and Universal Citywalk for tonight. We'll see if the family is still up for it or maybe they'd like to relax by the pool.

Anyways time to get going. Going to have my morning coffee with Mom on the Terrace. :)

It feels weird to have family here. The last 10 years, no one in my family has seen my life out here in Cali. Its good to share it.

I also feel good that all my cleaning was not doen in vane! Mom is doing really well with her allergies. :)

Peace,
Eric

From Windows to Mac and from Dirty to Clean!

Saturday was the day I took the plunge! I went to the Mac store with my friend John and bought a Mac book Pro

I LOVE it! It came with a free printer, scanner, copier too! John let me use his student discount which entitled me to a free iPod as well which I happily gave to him for helping me out so much, Thanks John!!

World of Warcraft looks beautiful! The built in camera and mic let me video chat via AIM with John and it was seemless. Not choppy at all!

And the 802.11n wireless is fast as hell!

On Sunday I cleanedmy place from noon until 10 pm with 2 one hour breaks. Whew 8 hours of cleaning makes you tired! Not to mention 8 hours of smelling Comet, Pledge, Windex and various other chemicals!

Mom comes on Wednesday and I'm almost ready. Just gotta wash the sheets in the spare room and clean again real quyickly on Tuesday. I'll buy some food to snack on too even though I'll be treating my Mom, Sister and Neice to some nice places to eat. :)

I can't wait to go home and hook up my camcorder to my Mac. :) I love playing! :)

Peace,
Eric

Making peace with the animals

It's no big secret that I am a huge animal lover.

Well, over the past year (although it bugged me my whole life to a degree) I have really been thinking, "If I love animals so much, why do I eat them?"

That of course spun off into several tangent conversations (usually with my friend Sheldon as we go for walks at lunchtime....love our deep conversations).

Why do human think we are so much better than any other life form that we believe the planet is ours and everything on the planet is here soley for our purpose?

Is it because of that silly religious notion that we have a soul and everything else doesn't, therefore we are better? (Scary that people really still believe that nonsense)

Do we experiment on(in a lot of cases torture) animals simple because they can't yell out "Fuck, that hurts, stop it!" or "I'll sue if you do that again?" Hmm, no that can't be right. There are some species we CAN communicate with, like Gorillas for example via sign language. Some of those guys know so many words, they can sign whole sentences and paragraphs. And instead of looking at them as equals, we still keep them behind bars for people to laugh at.

I look at my cats "Dizzy" and "Doodle" and (just like any other animal) they have emotions and feelings. They are just as alive as we are. They play, get sad, angry just like we do.

I do not want to be responisble any longer for a cow waiting in line to be slaughtered. They know its coming, they can see the one in front of them getting the axe.

Therefore, for some time now, I have given up eating all red meat and pork. No more cow and pigs. No more Tommy burgers, cheesesteaks and bacon.

It will be easy since I really didn't eat much of it anyways.

That leaves me with chicken. Once I find a way that I can prepare wheat gluten, I'll give up those guys too. (I had wheat gluten once at a chinese restaurant. It was veggy orange chicken and I could NOT tell the difference, the taste and texture were the same!)

It'll take some time to go off of chicken since thats all I eat. But for now, I feel better knowing that at least cow and pig are being spared my digestive track. This is all just a personal choice and (with spirituality) I won't be pushing these beliefs on anyone. Besides, I can i preach not to eat meat when I still eat chicken?

I just want to look at a cow or pig and let them know they've got one more friend among humanity. A bucket of KFC is a different matter though....for now...

Yo ho Yo ho a Cleaning Pirates life for me!

This weekend was pretty Mellow. I spent most of the day on Saturday shredding some big stacks of stuff I needed to go through and throw away and I did a massive cleaning in thge spare room in order to get it ready for my Mom for when she comes out.

She is allergic to cats, so I took the litterbox out of the room, vacuumed it really well and dusted everythign that could be dusted. I closed the door so the room is off limits from the cats until after her visit.

I am going to clean the rest of the apartment like that too this comign weekend, complete with lint brush on all the furniture and touch it up again the mornign I go to pick er up at the airport.

I am also going to buy a few air purifiers to take the cat hair and dander out of the air for her. I'll place one in the spare room, one in my room and one in the living room/dining room.

Hopefully that will be good enough for her and she will be fine. If not, plan B is to put her up at the raddison (just a few blocks away) in a room that has 2 beds and me, my sister and neice and each take turns staying with her.

I also did laundry etc.

Oh, I bought a digital camcorder too! This way I can make acool DVD of my Mom's trip :) Well, Mom's, Sister's and Neice. :)

On Sunday I wenty out with my friend Douglas and Elizabeth to CityWalk.

We had walked around a bit, had dinner at Biuca De Bepo and then saw Pirates of the Carribnean 3. It was good but I can't get the witchy woman's voice out of my head! "Would you sail to da end of da Eart ta save Jack?"

Tonight, after the gym, I am going to go to Lamps Plus and get some bulbs and hopefully buy 2 lamps for my living room. If not, there are 2 in a store in the Galleria I like.

Peace and Love,
Eric

Queer Eye for the Bingo Guy!

Wednesday night at Bingo was a blast like it always is!

I sat with my friends Gil and Richard and on the way down, I called my friend John and it just so happened he was up in my neck of the woods so he joined us for the second show. It was great to see him, I haven't for a while.

As usual, the night was full of fun and laughter and mmmm chocolate martinis :)

The first show had Jerry Matheny (I think that's her name) from Survivor. She was on a few seasons ago, really bitchy and hated Colby...) She was really nice in person and really funny. She even took over Bridgette's Bingo paddle to spank some lesbians!

The 9 o clock show featured Jai from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Gil got some good pictures, I just got one so-so one and here it is:

I have such a fun time there. I'm finally back in my mode of going every week. It's great to go out in the middle of the week, have a few cocktails, hang with friends and play some games. I almost won a few times too! :)

L.A Pride!

This weekend was Pride Weekend and what a blast!

On Saturday, we decided to carpool down to West Hollywood. My friend Eric drove up from Orange County. We picked up Sheldon and then my friend Steve on the way down.

We started off (Of course) at The Abbey, where we all got drunk off of some Chocolate Martinis! :) Yum!

We were there for a while talking to people that would walk by. What a friendly crowd!

We then entered the festival and met with with a few other friends Gil and Richard.

Eric even got me in the County Western Pavillion where I did my best attempt (especially being drunk off my ass) at Line Dancing! I actually had a lot of fun! Being the whitest boy on the planet, I couldn't get the hang of it but it was a lot of fun and it provided more than a few laughs! haha

Toward the end of the night we stayed to watch the shows (Something we were all excited about!).

We arrived at the main stage just in time to see Berlin. Thery were really good! During "Take my breath away", the lead singer got on her husband's shoulders and he walked her among the crowd! What a fun time!

After Berlin came Joan Jett and The Backhearts! They ROCKED! Man, she has so much energy and she looks really good! They played a bunch of stuff off their CD as well as some old favorites like "I Love Rock and Roll" and "Crimson and Clover". They really did make me a fan again!

Shel and I both agreed it was the best pride we've been to to date! It was such a fun day! Steve, Eric and Sheldon are such a blast to hang with!

Eric spent the night in the guest room and we went back to the festival Sunday to watch the parade. I didn't go, I needed to some to recover and relax hehe I lost my voice screaming at the concert so much! I hung out in the pool and had some laughs with my neighbors and played a little Warcraft with some friends.

Below are some pics of Pride (As always click on the picture to enlarge it):

Life is nice!

I know, I haven't blogged much and now 3 posts in one day!

I just had an e-mail from someone I haven't seen in a long time. What a nice thing. :)

Life has been nice and calm since I've purged the negativity from my life. I love hanging around people that just like to live unlike before when it was like being on "The View" caught up in the gross gossip that filled the air.

I'm also excited because my Mom is coming out with my Sister and Neice! It will be so nice to show them around L.A. I am very excited.

What's been going on personally? Well, I've been making some new friends, been on some dates. Been playing WoW with friends.

Ok, that's enough for now. Hopefully that'll keep my sister quiet for a while :) *grin*

Fixin' up the Terrace!

This weekend was a nice fun and productive time.

Saturday, I hung out with my friend Elaine and found somce nice Living room occasion tables. Only the didn't have them all in stock, so I will check back in a week or so.

We went out to dinner afterwards and then watch a summer concert at the Galleria with my friend Guy. It was a very fun time. :)

Sunday, I spent doing some laundry and I swept and used the hose to clean off my terrace. Afterwards, I went to a local nursery and bought some flowers to fill my pots and hang up. They are really cool looking. Reds, Purples, Pinks. Very very nice.

I then went to Home Depot and bought some really nice indoor/outdoor carpeting (The nice stuff, not that plastic green 70's shit). I brought it home and cut it to fit. Fabulous! Feels so good on the bare feet and easier to clean than a bare floor!

It looks really nice out there now. I just need to get a fountain and I'll be all set. But at this stage, I am ready for summer BBQing! :)

My place has come a logn way. It's very cozy now. :)

But also this weekend I started coming down with a sore throat and today it is really bothering me. :(

Hunting isn't a sport.

I just read an article on CNN.com where this 12 year old boy hunted and killed this huge 9 foot pig that was once farm raised.

What is it with people? Now, before I go on - I would like to say that yes I am a meat eater and I understand that animals die for me to eat (something I would like very much to get away from) but there is a difference between hunting for food and hunting just for the fuck of it because "That's what Men do."

I used to have arguements with these "hunters" that would sit for hours in "Tree Stands" and wait for something to walk by and shoot it. They call it a sport.

Wrestle the damn thing barehanded then I'll look at you as a force to be reckoned with.

I just don't understand why any parent would give a kid a gun and teach him the "thrill" of killing.

No wonder why the world is fucked up...too many bad parents out there.
