Ready for a Relationship
Yup, after getting my life in order and finally doing away with some negative influences in my life, I am ready for a relationship.
For a good part of last year, I enjoyed being single. I spent a lot of time working on all aspects of life and I am finally in a place that I feel whole.
Now I feel that it is time to share my life with someone, not out of need but out of the desire, There is a big difference there I've learned.
So with the summer starting this Memorial Day weekend, may it be the Summer of Love. :)

Home for Mother's Day!
I went back to Philly for Mother's Day. It was a time of mixed emotion.
Seeing my Grandmother's grave (without the dirt settled and the date still not on the stone) was a bit upsetting, but overall the trip was great.
We all got together and had a potluck for Mom for Mother's Day. I even tried to put the "fun" in Dysfunctional by playing Taboo. Some family members played and others just sat there.
I went shopping at the mall with my sister Patty. We had the best time! I got a lil toasty from wine tasting and by her yelling across the store and calling an ewmployee a liar (in a kidding way) we got Taboo at 50% off! (Of course the kid having the hots for her I'm sure had a lot to do with it! Shake it if ya got it!)
Me and Mom also met my friend Terry for lunch. He has been helping her with a legal issue so I figured it would be nice if they met each other :)
Below are a few pics. I only took a few, I don't know why. Usually I take a whole bunch of 'em!
Mom and Me:
Mom: (Isn't she cute? Not bad for 75 years old :) )

My waaaaaay cute lil niece:
My Niece again with her Mom, my sister Patty:

My Goddaughter Elise and my Niece Sara:

A good time was had by all!

Jerry Falwell is dead!
Thank God that bigoted fat fuck can't spread his hatred anymore.
Christianity is supposed to be about loving people, all people. He didn't. With his anti-gay agenda, his hateful comments helped hurt many young gays around the nation and perhaps the world. His bigoted words helped contribute to gay teen suicide and gay bashing alike.
Now his voice has been silenced and his tongue can no longer harm those, who are no different, and should be loved equally.
I personally am glad to see him go.
Perhaps this is the beginning of the end of the hateful right-wing christian agena of hate and bigotry. One can only hope.

Well beat my ass with a Lummi stick!
Summer is finally here, with my car telling me it was 106 degrees!
My place is nice and cool and the pool is being heated. Almost time once again for those nice lazy hot days out around the pool with soem margaritas and my neighbors. Good times!!
Speaking of good time, I'll be back in Philly for Mother's Day. It'll be nice . I am hoping with me coming home, it'll make the day easier for my Mom (since my Grandmom passed away a few weeks ago).
Last night I spent a lot of time questing in WoW with some online friends. I found a Mallet and fought my way through the Troll City and charged it on the Alter. Tonight I will journey to Zu'l Farrak and ring the gong with the Mallet. That summons a beast to kill and my reward is the "Carrot on a stick" trinket to increase my mount speed by 3%!
Welp, time to go. Have a great day all!
