I went to Home Depot today and got more paint rollers and stuff for the ceiling.
I began to paint and then suddenly everything that could go wrong did. The pole broke. The roller broke. A piece of my window blinds broke from across the room (?!)
Boy was I pissy, AND Home Depot was closed. I ran into my friend Guy and he came over at 10:30 and in an hour we had the whole dining room section done! He broke a pole he brought over, so I'll get him a new one, but God...with someone helping, it really goes by fast!
It was so nice of him to come over so late. We chatted and got caught up. What a nice visit!

I hate painting ceilings, it just plain sucks! Glad to hear you had a friend nice enough to help you out!!! If it makes you feel any better, I am starting to strip my wood work again and that is WAY worse than painting!!!
